Celebration Time

Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam to signal the new harvest and worship the moon on the role it plays. Celebrations include eating moon cakes, carrying bright lanterns and watching lively dragon dances.

The Zhengzhou International Shaolin Martial Arts Festival reveals a collection of martial arts, tourism and cultural exchanges in one large festival. During the event there are numerous martial arts performances and contests to watch.

International events

Formula 1 Grand Prix is one of Singapore’s most highly anticipated events each year and arrives in the city from September 14 - 16.

Thailand’s River Kwai Marathon also takes place this month; and the Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo.

Weather Patterns
